DNA Interactive Limited (DNA) Privacy Policy

DNA collects, uses and discloses (in aggregate) information relating to its core business of providing social mobile games through online service providers such as Application Stores (AS), Social Networks (SN) and online game portals (OGP). Such services and information collection are operated through various websites and through various online games and are collectively referred to as the “Services”. This Privacy Policy is to inform you of our policies and procedures regarding the collection, use and disclosure of personal information through the Services. This Privacy Policy applies only to information that you provide to us through the Services. This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on the Services. You are advised to consult this policy regularly for any changes. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms Of Service. As used in this policy, the terms “using” and “processing” information include using cookies on a computer, subjecting the information to statistical or other analysis and using or handling information in any way, including, but not limited to collecting, storing, evaluating, modifying, deleting, using, combining, disclosing and transferring information within our organization.

What we collect and how

You may offer personal information to us in a number of ways including, but not limited to, registering from within our games, registering on any of our websites, through our marketing partner/third sector network (subject to the privacy policies of these marketing partners) and more commonly through registering with an SN and then installing one of our applications. Such information might include such things as your name, address, date of birth, gender, phone number, credit card details, nationality and in-Service activity including virtual goods purchased. Note that other information relating to your personal profile with an external SN could be transferred to us (usually in aggregate) from that SN if you access one of our applications through that SN. Sometimes we might also ask you for voluntary personal preference information as well.

We also may collect, log and analyse data supplied automatically by your device, computer or browser. Such information may include, but is not limited to: Internet Protocol (IP) address, device information, browser type, browser language, referring websites/URLs, amount of time spent on pages and click-throughs.

Phishing

The security of your personal information is of utmost concern to us. We will never ask you for personal information such as credit card number or password in an un-secured manner, for instance by unsolicited email. Please contact us at privacy@DNAdynamics.net if you are concerned that you may have been the target for phishing activity related to our Services.

Information Sharing

We may share aggregated information with other service providers in order to offer you appropriate products and services through our own Services. Furthermore, DNA may ask other service providers to administer infrastructure required to deliver those services. Such third parties will have access to your personal information only in order to conduct their duties in delivering these Services. DNA only partners with organisations operating appropriate privacy policies.

We will not share personally identifiable information with any external advertising companies. However, one of our advertising partners might ask us to display an ad to a specific demographic (for instance Men in The United Kingdom aged between 18 and 35). Should you respond to that ad (click on it), the third party advertiser might then conclude that you are part of that demographic. There may be other ways that our partners can deduce personal information about you. Please refer to the privacy policies of those organisations.

Controlling Your Information

In some of our Services, you may be able to communicate directly with other users of those Services. In such cases you will be free, if you wish, to offer and exchange information about which DNA has no control. In such ‘free-chat’ situations, the responsibility for what information is exchanged and the consequences thereof lies with you. We do not monitor or encourage the exchange of personal information through our Services.

Others Information

You may offer us the contact details for another person. For instance you might upload address book details of someone you believe might be interested in using our Services. In such cases, we may use those contact details to offer such Services to that person, based on your recommendation. Should that person decline the invitation to participate, we will remove their contact information from our database.

International Transfer

DNA’ headquarters is in the UK and most data analysis is done there. You should be aware however that your information may be stored on databases anywhere across the globe. We do this in order to provide the lowest cost, best quality Services we can and only partner with those service providers with high security and ethical standards. This means for example, that you might be in the Far East, register with our UK-based business through our website and your information may be stored on servers in the US and Europe. Your submission of information represents your agreement to this transfer.

Links To Other Sites

Our Services contain links to other websites. If you choose to visit an advertiser by clicking on a banner ad or other type of advertisement, or click on another third party link, you will be directed to that third party’s website. The fact that we link to a website or present a banner ad or other type of advertisement is not an endorsement, authorization or representation of our affiliation with that third party, nor is it an endorsement of their privacy or information security policies or practices. We do not exercise control over third party websites. These other websites may place their own cookies or other files on your device/computer, collect data or solicit personal information from you. Other sites follow different rules regarding the use or disclosure of the personal information you submit to them. We encourage you to read the privacy policies or statements of the other websites you visit.

Children Under The Age Of 13

DNA does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 13 or knowingly allow such persons to register. If you are under 13, please do not attempt to register for DNA or send any information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number, or email address. No one under age 13 may provide any personal information to or on DNA. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13 we will delete that information as quickly as possible.
